Yes, firstly let me apologise for putting the wrong month, I put January instead of February, I have corrected it now.
The sighting of The New Moon is the start of a new month in the Bible, according to the way THE ALMIGHTY determines how a year is made up.
Certain months are more important than others because feasts are keep in them, so it's important to know the start of the month so you can get the correct date for the feast.
Also the start of the new month was also a Sabbath and no work was done that day.
A New moon, is when the moon first appears at sunset, it will be a thin crescent shape. 14 days after a New moon is a full moon. Important to know for two feasts that are kept on the 15th of the first month and the seventh months.
I will get round to posting it here in full when I put it on my website.
